Raspberry Pi – Getting inputs from buttons…


Here is another Raspberry Pi GPIO tutorial… This tutorial builds on my previous 2 tutorials available to view via my Channel. In this tutorial you will learn how to get an input from a simple button.

Commands used:

To change directory – cd /****/*****/*****/

To enable your python program – sudo python yourprogram.py

    One minor detail which could get people new to this into trouble. The normal convention is to use black for ground and red for the + supply. The habit to use red and black this way should be developed early. Except for that, this was an excellent tutorial. Thank you.
